She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Melton and Dorothy Melton (Ashmore); her husband Larry Purdy; her daughters, Cindy Lou Purdy and Lisa Ann Purdy; and her sister Charlene Kay Endicott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Lynn Orlovetz and Christy Jo Allen (Rick L.) of Girard; and her brothers, Larry Melton (Betty Jo) of Baxter Springs and Lloyd Melton of Frontenac. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
