He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Braden and Helen C. Braden (Leighty). He is survived by: his wife Kristi; his sons, Joshua Braden (Ashley) of Pittsburg, KS and Jared Braden of Pittsburg, KS; his sisters, Vicki Lemon (Larry) of Parker, KS and Cynthia Eichorn of Frontenac, KS; his grandchildren, Kalanee, Annistyn and Elliana Braden; and his siblings-in-law, Karen and Jerry Parsons of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by several nephews, and niece.
Memorial donations can be made to St Mary's Alumni Fund or Mass intentions in his name.
