He is survived by: his wife Carolyn West of Pittsburg, KS; his children, Misty Hugo (Brad) of Pittsburg, KS, John West (Jody) of Alexandria, IN and Brian West (Mikki) of Pittsburg, KS; and his granddaughter Toni (Josh) of Pittsburg, KS. He is also survived by one sister, one brother, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to the Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund.
