It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Barnard of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Donald Barnard, Jr.; and his granddaughters, Andrea and Jennifer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Pummill; and his siblings, Wayne Barnard of Burlingame, Sharon Foster of Pittsburg and Linda Turner of Ft. Scott.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
