He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ward and Dorothy Ward (Foster); and his wife Susan Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Ward (Jessica) of Greensboro and Jennifer Glenn (Jereme) of Joplin, Missouri; his sister Denise Brewer (Parke) of Silver Spring, Maryland; his grandchildren, Annalise Ward, Benjamin Ward, Baron Zanetto, Vivian Ward, Johnathon Glenn, Jacob Glenn, Joshua Glenn and Julie Glenn; and his great grandchildren, Sterling Slankard, Walker Glenn and Solomon Glenn.
Dr. Ward requested that memorials be given to Pittsburg Nazarene Church (PittNaz).
