He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Leah Walker; his father Floyd O Lanning Sr.; and his brother Jay Lanning. He is survived by: his mother Janet Lanning (Medearis) of Rockford, IL; and his sister Marie Fertig (Jerry) of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
