He was predeceased by: his children, Jeri Ornelas Jones and Steven Lee Handshy; and his grandsons, Dustin Ornelas and Steven Handshy. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Handshy (Becky) and Randy Handshy (Pam) of Aurora, MO; his son-in-law Bud Jones of Iola, KS; and his grandchildren, Michael Handshy and Michelle Kearns. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society and/or Hospice Compassus.
