He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Garrison and Veva Garrison (Potter); his former wife Elizabeth Ann Heckert; his son Gregory D. Garrison; his brothers, Francis M. Garrison Jr., Robert Garrison and Gene Garrison; and his stepson Craig M. Vandris.

He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Garrison of Pittsburg; his stepdaughter Debra Anthony (Patrick) of Pittsburg; his grandchildren, Jason Morgan (Stefanie) of Meriden and Kristen Anthony; and his great grandchild Ryleigh Morgan.
