He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Hite and Eloise Margaret Hite (Stephens); and his brothers, Steve Hite and Gary Hite. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Mowery; his son Gregory Hite (Amelia); his grandson Nicholas Hite (Katelyn); and his brother Stuart Hite (Amy) of Pittsburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cherokee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society.
