He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harold and Nadine M. Johnson (Pipkin); and his sisters, Correne Herron and Phyllis Johnson. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Kay Pettit of Lawrence and Roger Herron of Mission, Kansas..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Brenner Mortuary (114 E 4th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
