She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Elmer "Cotton" and Verl Anna Clanton (Troxel); and her brother Orval G. Clanton. She is survived by: her children, Mike Chancey (Debby) of Webb City, Jeff Chancey (Loren) of Webb City, Steve Chancey (Pamela) of Pittsburg and Diana Penrose (John) of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Justin, Randy, Katie, Brandon, Ryan, Kelly, Ellen, Ethan and Nathan; and her sister Frances J. Samuels (Bill) of Pittsburg. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to First Christian Church.
