We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2019, at the age of 84, James D. Buche (Pittsburg, Kansas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James D. Buche to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Buche and Lorene Buche (Schreeb); his son David Joseph; his siblings, Patricia Ann and William Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Wilbert and Mel Wilbert.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Buckley; his brothers, Construction and Pipe Co; his children, Steve (Michele) of Kansas City, KS, Nancy Evans (Jim) of Pittsburg, Cathy Brazier (Dean) of Birmingham, AL, Paul (Tammy) of Pittsburg and Mary Ukena (David) of Springfield, MO; his grandson David Evans of Webb City, MO; his great grandchildren, Amyx, Blake Evans of Columbus and Addison Childs of Littleton, CO; and his sister-in-law Ann Conroy (Buche) of Waukegan, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund and/or Pittsburg Beautiful.

“Him was a dear friend who just loved to bucket and tease me. He knew me so well that a year ago for my birthday he gave me a T-shirt that said "I call the shots". We laughed at that because it was so true. I remember he said that Carolyn would never have let him get it for me. I am so glad he did. He will be in my thoughts whenever I wear it. He will be sorely missed by Pete and myself.”
