He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Askins and Helen Askins (Cooper); and his granddaughter Payton Kannarr. He is survived by: his wife Mary Keegan; his daughters, Kathy Wilbert (Craig) of Pittsburg, Julie Cedeno (Pat) of Pittsburg and Amy Kannarr (Shane) of Pittsburg; his grandchildren, Ashley Wilbert, Shelby Eberling (Bob), Connor Wilbert (Aspen), Taylor Cedeno, Christian Cedeno (Paige), Ryan Cedeno (Maddy), Delaney Tenbrink (Jack), Sydney Kannarr and Brody Kannarr (Dalanie Meek); and his great grandchildren, Wesley Eberling, Maeve Wilbert, Mac, Jordie Cedeno and Jameson Kannarr.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (109 E 9th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:20 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggest memorials be given to Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund.
