He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Margaret Eva Fields (Hay); and his siblings, Bill, Tim, Bobby, Wayne, Mark, John, Howard Fields, Lavon Tompkins, June Dougherty and Margaret Fossey.
He is survived by: his wife Sooki Kim; his children, Traci Askew (Chuck), Wesley Fields (Jennifer), Niki Farnsworth, Molly Sloop (J. P.) and Bobby Fields (Katherine); and his siblings, Fred Fields (Linda), Terry Fields, Joyce Mishmash and Trish Victor. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Wesley House or Salvation Army or the Lord's Diner.
