He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Waneta Griffitt and George W. Carter Jr. Lloyd. He is survived by: his sons, Dusty Brewer and Lloyd Dale Carter (Robyn); his stepson Jeremiah Patrick Sams; his daughter Sunshine Carter; and his siblings, Dale Carter (Kathy) and Carolyn Allen (Randy). He is also survived by one nephew, three nieces, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Foundation, or the Parkinsons Foundation.
