She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Simone and Lelia Simone (Green); her sister Janet Sandberg; her brother-in-law Larry Sandberg; and her brother Charles Simone.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Smirl (Jim) of Frontenac and Jim Marion (Kathy) of Bucyrus, KS; her grandchildren, Samantha Marion (Steve), Mitchell Marion (Raechel), Zach Smirl (Oom) and Josh Smirl; her great grandchildren, Haiden Smirl, Dakota Prasertsukhon, Julian and Cody Barnett; her great great grandchild Maeve Versoza; her sisters-in-law, Darlene Dean (Darrell) and Betty Simone (Charles); and her niece Lisa (Dwayne).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory - Pittsburg (522 S Broadway St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Phi Tau Omega Philanthropic Sorority or Harry Hynes Hospice; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
