She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Melton and Alice Melton; her son John Boccia; her daughter-in-law Kathy Boccia (Johnson); and her siblings, Rosalie Monroe (Melton), Arnold and Minnie Melton.
She is survived by: her husband Carmen Michael Boccia of West Mineral; her children, Theresa Boccia Barker (late Byran), Victor Boccia (Don), Vincent Boccia (Vicki), Barbara Wixon (Mark) and Monica Taylor (Troy); and her siblings, Arelva Brynds, James Melton and April Richardson. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy and remembrance are strongly suggested in lieu of flowers. The family requests donations be made toward a playground memorial to be constructed at Big Brutus, Inc. honoring the lives of John and Kathy Boccia and Norvella Boccia.
