It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia (Peach) McNew of Pittsburg, Kansas, born in Gardena, California, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Short and George Short; her sister Paula Russell; her brother-in-law Terry Thurman; and her niece Angela Thurman.
She is survived by: her husband Philip McNew; her daughter Terra Lorenzo (Patrick); her grandchildren, Brodie and Cassie Lorenzo; her siblings, Kevin Short (Robin) of Girard, Michael Short (Kristin) of North Carolina, Phillip Short, Kelly (Heather), Dary Short of Belle Vista, Arkansas, Pam Thurman of Rogers, Tena Ladd of Rogers and Ragenia Walker of Arkansas; her brother-in-law Randy Russell of Girard; and her friend Marcia Seims of Navarre, Florida.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
