She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Palmer and Lois Palmer; her husband Billy Joe Batten; and her children, Marge and Eldon.
She is survived by: her daughter Nikki Knaup (Dan); her granddaughter Crystal Horning (Russell); her sister Marilyn Ulrich; her grandchildren, Charlie Clothier, Laura Clothier, Lindsey Greve, Matthew Batten, Anson Knaup (Brenna), Shara Wood (Zack) and Brett Knaup; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Horning, Grayson Batten, Elijah Batten, Landon Knaup, Zarrah Wood, Ace Wood, Aspyn Wood, Starr Wood, Peyton Knaup and Cade Knaup.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Et Frontenac United Methodist Church (102 S Cayuga St, Frontenac, KS 66763). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at the Garden of Memories (149 S. Hwy 69, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Frontenac United Methodist Church.
