He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ted Chadd, Eunice Van Kam and Frank M. Van Kam. He is survived by: his parents, Frank R. Kam and Teddi Lynn Van Kam (Chadd) of Pittsburg; his former wife Amy Crowell; his son Braden Alexander Van Kam (Abby Alcorn) of Laramie, Wyoming; his brothers, Jay Van Kam (Valarie) of Aurora and Matthew Van Kam (Summer) of Doddridge, Arkansas; his grandmother Noralee Chadd of Cherokee, Kansas; and his nephews, Logan Van Kam, Dylan Van Kam and Shaun Van Kam. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In consideration of others, the family asks that you follow COVID precautions if unvaccinated.

The family suggests memorials be given to Hospice of Sweetwater County.
