He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Burnidge and Pauline Burnidge; and his siblings, Keith, Jan Burnidge of Joplin, MO and Gary Burnidge of Tulsa, Oklahoma..

He is survived by: his daughter Cara Burnidge of Cedar Falls; and his sister Pam Kolath of Pittsburg, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
