He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee; and his daughters, Kimberly Spurling, Kanah Leah Armstrong-Martin and Mandy Marie Karstetter. He is survived by: his mother Carrie Marie Armstrong (Bell) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his wife Susie Ferguson (Strickland); his daughter Brandy Lynn Merritt of South Carolina; his stepson David Ferguson (Tasha) of Girard, Kansas; and his sisters, Sue Smith of Weir and Sherri Couch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenner Mortuary (114 E 4th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
