Stuart Owsley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 83, Stuart Owsley of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Justice Perry Lyndon and Maxine E. Owsley (Polley); and his wife Kathleen Owsley. He is survived by: his children, Stuart Todd Owsley of Seattle, Tyler Lane Owsley of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Amber Lynn Owsley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brother Kirk Owsley; his sister-in-law Sandy Owsley of Fort Worth, Texas; his sister Susan Cross of New Orleans, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Sierra Owsley, Nathan Owsley and Abby Owsley; his siblings-in-law, Gay, Larry Adams and Karen Finch; and his pet Sophia. He is also survived by four nephews, and four nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (415 N Pine St, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
The family suggests memorials be given to First United Methodist Church &/or Wesley House.
