We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2021, at the age of 77, Tommy Edward Gates (Pittsburg, Kansas), born in Girard, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gates and Arabella Gates (Weakley); his son James Gates; and his siblings, Bob, Bill, Helen "Peg" Hardy and Linda Romaniz.

He is survived by: his former wife Gloria James; his daughter Michelle Pryor; his wife Virginia Gorsage; and his son-in-law Gerald Thomas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
