She is survived by: her son-in-law Timothy Grover; her children, Cody Merrick (Andrea) of Frontenac, Lance Merrick (Nicholas Bideler) of St. Louis, Missouri and Myrna MaLia Merrick of Columbus, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Jason James of New York, Ethan Merrick, Harlee Merrick and Finley Merrick of Frontenac, Kansas.; her brother Ron Wood (Bonnie) of Independence; her nephew Beau Wood of Independence; her niece Ty LaPee of Joplin, Missouri.; her sister-in-law Debbie Wood of Elk City; her friend Treva Morse of Caney, Kansas.; and her pets, Barley, Bennett and Biscuit.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mother of God Catholic Church (1105 4th St, Oswego, KS 67356).
