In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Linda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Cook and Betty Jo Cook (Carson); her son Aron Carrillo; and her sister Katherine Cook. She is survived by: her husband Jose Carrillo of Plains; her children, Jeffrey Carrillo of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Felicia Carrillo of Plains; and her siblings, Mike, Johnny, James Cook and Betty Jean Thys. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary (212 S Fowler St, Meade, KS 67864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Plains Community Building (810 Grand Ave, Plains, KS 67869).
