With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Dunning (Plainville, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Orson and Bessie Ottalie (Adams); his former wife Patricia Tanko Meiers; his wife Pat Meyers; and his siblings, Thelma Claudine Autenreith, Alberta Mae, Guy Denzil and Atta Lee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stockton Church of Restoration in Stockton, KS.. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Plainville Cemetery (903 S Cemetery Rd, Plainville, KS 67663).
