We announce the death of Edward F. Branch of Plainville, Kansas, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Laura Del Branch (King); his wife Shirley Grieve; his son Wesley Branch; his siblings, Fern, Marion, Della, Letha, George, Lemuel and Melvin Branch; and his stepbrothers, Leslie Dunn and Claude Dunn.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Jennings (Doug) of Plainville, Michael Branch (Kathy Delzeit) of Plainville and Brian Branch of Zurich, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jacob Branch (Kalea Graf), Brittany Branch (Marc Hansen), Tori Stark (Wyatt), Isaac Branch and John Branch; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Wrenley Hansen, Adalynn Roller and Lainey Branch.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (320 2nd St SW, Plainville, KS 67663). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (301 S Broadway St, Plainville, KS 67663). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery (802 11 Rd, Stockton, KS 67669).
