She was predeceased by : her parents, Ulysses S. Young and Lennie Audie Young (Haynes); her siblings, Cecil Young, Melvin Young, Selbert Young, James Young, Tom Young and Bernice Calhoun (Alvin Gore); her daughter Dianna Mock; her husband Alan Thompson; her grandchildren, Danielle Gore and Brett Gore; and her great grandchild Zavery Gore.

She is survived by : her significant other Alvin Keith Gore; her sons, Steven Gore Sr. (LuAnn) of Palmyra, PA and Monte Gore of Bainbridge, PA; her son-in-law Phillip Mock; her daughter Gayla Puthoff (Fred) of Wichita, KS; and her sister Nita Melick (John) of Mulvane, KS. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
