He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Dingus and Ina E. McGregor Dingus; and his siblings, Marvin, Carl, Clarence Dingus, Eva Thompson, Ruth, Elizabeth Dingus, Donna Shahan, Katherine Dabbs and Nellie Davis.

He is survived by : his brother Robert Dingus (RJ). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
