In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rees Lyle had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Rees Lyle may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rees Wilbur and Lulu Elizabeth Black Shattuck; and his wife Louise McIntyre. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Wood (Dave), Diane Springer (Randy) and Danna Schneider (Scott); his sister Irma Skinner (Ron); and his close friend Ruby Ingram. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel (816 Main St, Pleasanton, KS 66075). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Prescott United Methodist Church (256 W Main St, Prescott, KS 66767).
