He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Dale and Opal R. Dale (Banks); his daughter Marla Rogge; and his siblings, Lawrence, Bill, Adair and Wilma McElhaney.
He is survived by: his wife Audean A. Crenshaw; his children, Donna Leslie of Partridge, Edwin Dale Jr. (Vickey) of Partridge and Ronnie Dale (Michelle) of Hutchinson; and his brother Nolan Dale of Hutchinson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20+ great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Abbyville Community Church (201 W Ave G, Abbyville, KS 67510).
