She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Sloop and Berneita Sloop (Fanning); and her siblings, Jean Burns-Johnson, Rose Ann Sloop, LD Sloop, Don Sloop and Bill Sloop.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Nitcher; her sons, Ted Nitcher (Carolyn), Tom Nitcher (Julie) and Gerry Nitcher (Robin); her siblings, Kenneth Sloop, Dale Sloop (Pat), Arlon Sloop (Frances), Evelyn Hope-Jones, Norma Miller (Gary) and Kathy Tevis (Don); and her grandchildren, Amanda Wadkins (Justin), Andrew Nitcher (Jill), Tanner Nitcher, Tyler Nitcher (Kaitlyn), Joey Nitcher (Tana), Sean Nitcher (Sara), Laura Phelps (John), Melanie Slaughter (JD), Meredith Sawyer (Bryce) and Greg Nitcher (Chloe). She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
