Rex Earl Hancock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Earl Hancock of Pomona, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Earl Hancock and Opal Marie Hancock (Hill); his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Hancock, Chuck and Billy Hess; his nephew Brad Bedlington; and his great grandchild Abel Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Kay Hancock (Hess); his siblings, Sharon Lee Firestone (Gerald), Albert Hancock (Judy) of Ottawa and Dennis Hancock of Freeport, Florida; his children, Rex Jr., Randy, Chloe Ann, Thomas, Eileen (Mark), Carrie and Jamey (Amelia); and his siblings-in-law, Eric Hess and Christine Baum (Hess). He is also survived by many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
