He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spellmeier and Leona Tinner Spellmeier; his grandparents, Otto, Alvina Obrock Tinner, C. W. (Charles) and Emma Thieme Spellmeier; his brother-in-law Mark Morgan; his cousins, Joyce Lockwood (Tom), Lorena Boenker (Dale), Martin Bleeke (Lucy) and Walter Tinner; and also, Albert and Hulda Biebrich.
He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Morgan (Mark) of Wathena, KS, Dean Spellmeier of Hiawatha, KS and Allan Spellmeier (Marcia) of Fairview, KS.; his nieces, Courtney Shaw (Tyler), Whitney Meng (Darryl), Bailey Matney (Jake), Keremy Bachelor (Michael) and Candace Sullivan (Brady); his nephew Jared Spellmeier; and his cousins, Marlene Poling, Dorothy Reiter, Alvin Bleeke and Roberta Plattner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Lutheran Hour, Brown County Rescue Squad, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church which may be left in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., 66434.
