He is survived by: his brother Randall Bryant Stroup, Sr.; his former wife Elizabeth Barthell Stroup; his children, Amanda Stroup Ketterling, Brady Ketterling, Carolyn Sandberg and Jason Stroup (Theresa); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Klemmer, Alex, DeLisa DeBolt Rogers and Dennis DeBolt; his grandchildren, Weston Robert, Cooper Jay and Olivia; and his sister Karen Thompson (Bill).

He fought a valiant battle against Parkinson's disease, dementia, and cancer—a true warrior's farewell.
