He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Bennett and Alice Bennett; and his siblings, Donald Bennett, Larry Bennett, Jimmy Tolliver, Deana Bond and Shirley Ryan.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Kell; his children, Ronnie Bennett and Rebecca Weber (Pete Weber); his grandson Jeffery Bennett; and his great grandchildren, Shayla, Ava, Oscar and Isaak.
