Joseph Miles Grantham Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Miles Grantham (Prairie Village, Kansas), who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wynonna Grantham and Aubrey Grantham; his son Christopher; and his grandson Leslie "Bink" III. He is survived by : his wife Charlyne; and his children, Robyn, Joe (Patti), Cindi, Charlyne (Leslie), Tim (Markita) and Matthew (Cindy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the "Dr. Joe Grantham Scholarship Fund" at St. Teresa's Academy or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

“Dr. Joe was a wonderful colleague at St.Teresa's Academy. We spent many hours talking about sports of all kinds including his early playing days in Wyandotte County (where I also grew up) and his time at De La Salle HS (even though I went to that other boys school). We also shared similar interests in old movies and significant people in world history. My lunch hour was never boring if I shared it with Dr. Joe. So very glad our paths crossed in life.
