She was predeceased by: her parents, John New and Dorothy New; her husband Tommy Joe Sharp; and her sisters, Barb Smith and Linda Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Sharp (Sandy), Brad Sharp (Christe) and Susan Laird (Scott); her grandchildren, Taylor Laird, Anna Vandervelden (Noah), Tommy Laird (Hope) and Derek Sharp (Nina); and her brother John New III (Beth). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
