It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Bennett of Prairie Village, Kansas, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Cliff Schmidt and Leona Schmidt; and her siblings, Rita Schmidt and Peter Schmidt. She is survived by : her husband James Bennett, Jr. (Jim); her children, Joan (Tom) of Aiken, SC, Dan (Dawn) of Charlotte, NC, Carol (Bob) of Denville, NJ, Sharon (Tom) of Mendham, NJ and Mary Beth (Joe) of Spring Hill, KS.; her sisters, Rosemarie Taylor (Bill) of Louisville, KY, Carolyn Russell (Jim) of Nashua, NH and Margie Prys (Paul) of Louisville, KY; her siblings-in-law, Joan Schmidt of Louisville, KY., Thomas Bennett and Roger Cubbage; and her close friend Amanda Pense. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter.
