In the sacred silence of farewell, we release Wayne into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of our lives. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Senior Living (9300 Parkside Dr, Prairie Village, KS 66207). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (The Chapel) (600 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66603). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sunrise Cemetery (2901 Stagg Hill Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to organizations that Wayne was most passionate about: the Spencer Family Scholarship at the KSU Foundation, National Center for Fathering or First United Methodist Church Topeka, KS.
