We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 85, Bette Jacque Skaggs (Pratt, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jack and MaudAllis Mills. She is survived by: her husband Gary Skaggs; her children, Douglas Skaggs (Anneliese) of Toledo, William Skaggs (Kim) of Pratt and Ann Rausch (Dennis) of Topeka, Kansas; her sisters, Sylvia "Toby" Wilber of Charlotte and Judith "Judy" Alterman of Wichita, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Abigail Farmer (Kyle), Tyler Skaggs (Michaela), Sarah Skaggs (Wyatt Kolb), Nicholas Rausch (Paige Gilbert), Natalie, Collin Rausch, Sadie, Carmen and Clayton Skaggs. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Pratt Public Library, Pratt Historical Museum or Pratt Area Humane Society.
