She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Christopher and Maude Beatrice Badders (McKee); her husband Leon Murphy; and her siblings, Creed Badders, LaQuinta Leatherman and Chris Badders.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrina Murphy of Wichita, Aaron Murphy (Angela) of Cunningham, Jim Badders (Kathleen) of Wichita and Connie Bontrager (Malan) of Hutchinson; and her brother Fred Badders (Nancy) of Wichita. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cunningham Christian Church (125 W First St, Cunningham, KS 67035). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Iuka Cemetery.
