He was predeceased by : his father Albert Forbes; his daughter Brenda Kay Forbes; his mother Trula Jones Forbes (Jones); his brother Dennis Forbes; and his sister-in-law Glenda Forbes.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Earlene Forbes (Ostrander); his daughter Janet Forbes Albert of Albuquerque, NM; his brother Jake Forbes (Wanda) of Harlingen, TX; his sisters-in-law, Emily Guentert (Richard) of Johnston, IA and Rita Waltermire (Jay) of Garnett; his grandchildren, Travis Reeder (Chelsy) of San Diego, CA and Emily Reeder; and his great grandchildren, Wailynn Meads and Tristan Reeder.

Memorials may be made to Pratt Regional Medical Center or American Heart Association in care of Larrison Mortuary.
