He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Baird and Alice Baird (Meitler); his wife Linda Baird (Wolf); and his siblings, Larry Baird, Mark Baird and Tracy Legleiter.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Goertzen (Donnie) of Pratt, Terry Baird (Tammy) of Pratt and Michael Baird of Pratt; and his brother-in-law Roger Legleiter. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
