She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schmeidler and Margaret Schmeidler (Pahls); and her brother-in-law John Boor. She is survived by: her husband Mike Day of Pratt; her daughters, Amanda Walstrom (Wally) of Hays and Shanda Busby (Matthew) of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Thane Walstrom, Dayne Walstrom, Blaine Walstrom and Karlee Busby; and her siblings, Judy Boor of Great Bend, Jane Lehning (Steve) of Sublette, Jean Naccarato (Dan) of Hutchinson, Kansas and Jim Schmeidler (Bev) of Great Bend. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary, Ltd. (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (332 N Oak St, Pratt, KS 67124). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made payable to Larrison Mortuary for her Grandchildren's Education Fund in care of Larrison Mortuary.
