He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Lake and Helen Lake (Fuller). He is survived by: his children, Sarah Lake (Clint Tritsch) of Pratt, Shay Stephens (Oakley) of Pratt, Darin Lake of Springfield and Darrel Lake of Florida; his siblings, Joe Bob Lake (Nyakio) of Leawood and Susan Lake of Tucson, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Elijah Lake, Dominic King, Cyrus Stephens, Baylor Stephens, Brandon Lake and Kristin Fackrell. He is also survived by other granddaughter on the way; and two great-grandchildren.
