She was predeceased by: her parents, Oathel Monaghan and Bertha Monaghan (Brown); her husband Gene Smart; her brother LeRoy Monaghan; and her sister-in-law Norene Monaghan.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Jim Smart (Cynthia), Helen McLaughlin (Lynn) and Marjorie Lobdell (Abe); her sibling's children, Glenn Monaghan (Ronda), Marvin Monaghan and Cheryl Brown (Keith); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Glenna Reinert (Nyle), Kyla McDonald (Devin), Jessica Petty (Gary), Randa Nett (Ryan), Tracy Wheaton (Ben), Jolene Monaghan, Damon Brown (Chelsea), Colter Brown (Sydney) and Jared Monaghan; Kaleigh, Whitley Reinert, Annabelle, Emmalyn Nett, Gracen, Ada Petty, Josephine Brown, Creighton, Boone, Bodie, Booker McDonald, Luke, Eli Petty, Thatcher Nett and Milo Brown.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Larrison Mortuary (300 Country Club Rd, Pratt, KS 67124). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. She did at Pratt Regional Medical Center auxiliary, RSVP, Red Cross Bloodmobile and South Wind Hospice thrift Shop.
