He was predeceased by : his parents, Nathan Berkley and Alma Hayse (Blackstone); his wife Calora June Hayse (Williams); his siblings, Lewie Hayse, Nathan Hayse, Jr., Carl Hayse, Ella Hayse, Myra Smith and Mary Jo Tournade; and his former life partner Lois Hayse (Fitzsimmons).

He is survived by : his children, Michael Hayse of Pratt and Christine Peterson (Randy) of Manhattan; his granddaughters, Leslie Neilson (Joshua) of Manhattan and Megan Niederwerder (Jeremy) of Manhattan; his great grandchildren, Harper, Hudson Niederwerder, Addilyn, Parker and Lily Neilson; his stepdaughters, Lynn Morris (Terry) of Newton and Christa Williams of Wichita; and his stepgrandchildren, A. J., Tyler, Joshua Williams and Abree Abendroth (Kendall).

Memorials may be made to Pratt Health Foundation or Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.
