Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Belcher and Gloria Belcher (Beals); and her former husband J. Alan Winter. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Mische (Chad) of Cheney and Becky Cagle (Brent) of Lawrence; her sister Robbie Griffiths (Scott) of Long Island, Kansas.; and her grandsons, Lucas Griffith, Saige Mische, Garrett Mische and Kieren Cagle.
A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (332 N Oak St, Pratt, KS 67124).
